Wood Slat Room Divider Samples

Each box contains (2) pieces that fit together seamlessly to create one 94.5"x23.9" panel. The tongue-and-groove design of the panels allows them to be installed side-by-side, creating one, uniform slat wall with no vertical seams or gaps.

To install, simply place the panel(s) in the desired location and drill through the felt into your desired surface. From there, the panels are only as permanent as you want them to be - they look like they were built-in from the beginning, but come down in seconds if needed, with virtually no damage left behind.

Behind the wood slats is 0.38" PET felt, which is made from recycled water bottles and 100% recyclable. This backing holds the slats permanently in place, and makes installation a breeze.

What do I need to install the Room Divider?

Hardware and the needed screws are included. You will need:

• Drill
• Level
• Laser level
• Measuring tape
• Pencil

What height should my ceiling be?

Thanks to the spring-loaded hardware design, your ceiling can be between a range of heights for the slats to be installed out-of-the-box.

If your ceiling is too short, the slats can be easily cut down to length. If your ceiling is too high, you can add a header and/or footer piece to add extra height and "frame" your room divider project.

240cm slats:

• Acceptable ceiling height range: 95.25” - 96.5” (242cm-245cm). The slats can easily be cut down to length on site if needed.

270cm slats:

• Acceptable ceiling height range: 107.3” - 108.3” (272cm-275cm). The slats can easily be cut down to length on site if needed.

Can I cut the slats?

Yes, absolutely. The wood slats are easy to cut, we recommend a circular saw or mitre saw with a standard wood blade for best results. The pre-drilled holes for the hardware are 40mm (1.57") deep, so any cuts of more than that length to either end will require you to drill the holes for the hardware again.

Do I have to drill into my floor or ceiling?

Because wood products can expand and contract slightly, having them span the floor-to-ceiling without being secured is not safe.

We've designed our room divider hardware kit to allow for some give in how high your ceiling can be, and the included floor and ceiling screws are small, making for extremely small floor and ceiling holes, and virtually no damage left behind.

If you'd like to minimize the number of holes in your floor and/or ceiling, you can secure a header or footer in place first with fewer fastening points, and then attach the wood slats to that.

Can I hang things, like hooks or art, from the slats?

We can't recommend hanging anything from the slats. Always consult a professional.

How do I wash the slats?

To occasionally remove dust, the slats can be wiped down gently with a dry cloth. The wood is pre-finished to protect the wood.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

The slats ship in triple-walled hardboard packaging that is 100% recyclable, so shipping damages are very unlikely. However, we're 100% committed to customer satisfaction - if your order arrives damaged, please send us an email at hello@andorwillow.com with images of the damages within 48 hours of delivery, and we will find a solution for you immediately.
