How do you install tongue and groove wall planks?

Tongue and groove wall planks can be installed using brad nails, construction adhesive, or a combination of both. The recommended installation method is called blind nailing: driving 16-gauge nails at a 45-degree angle through the tongue edge, so the nails are hidden by the next plank. This produces a completely fastener-free finished surface. For tongue and groove ceiling installations, both adhesive and nails are required.
